Dr. Alison
Holman

Alison Holman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. Holman has been PI or co-PI on several community-based studies of coping with a variety of traumatic life events (e.g., firestorms, terrorism) funded by the National Science Foundation and the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation.

 
       
 

Dr. Steven
Cramer

Steven C. Cramer, M.D. is a Professor of Neurology at UCLA.

Dr. Cramer is also the Medical Director of Research at the California Rehabilitation Institute. His research focuses on brain repair after central nervous system injury in humans, with an emphasis on recovery of function after stroke.

 
       
 

Breann McGee, BS, CCRP

Breann McGee is the Project Manager for the STRONG Study. She oversees all aspects of the project as well as facilitates the onboarding process for all sites.

Breann received her degree in Genetics from Purdue University.

   
       
 

Madelyn Cao, BA

Madelyn Cao is the Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator for the STRONG Study.She is responsible for screening, consenting, and completing Visits 1, 3, and 4 with eligible participants at the UCI Medical Center. She oversees our team of physical and occupational therapists.

Madelyn graduated from the University of California Irvine and has been working in clinical research since 2016.

   
       
 

Ashley Jubb, BS

Ashley Jubb is the Research Assistant for the STRONG Study. She is responsible for site communication, study materials, and data entry.

Ashley graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. She has been working in research since 2014.

   
       
 

Justin Razeghian, DPT, PT

Justin Razeghian is a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. He performs Visit 1 and Visit 2 assessments.

Justin enjoys working as a PT in an acute rehabiliation setting with geriatric and neurological patient population.

   
       
 

Baylor Hogan, DPT, PT

Baylor Hogan works as a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. She performs Visit 1 and Visit 2 assessments.

Baylor is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Chapman University with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and stroke recovery.

   
       
 

Mitchell Garrido-Lecca, DPT, PT

Mitchel Garrido-Lecca is a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. He performs Visits 1 and Visit 2 assessments.

Mitchell graduated from Chapman University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is passionate about neurological and vestibular rehabilitation. He enjoys working in the acute care setting with patient who have recently had a stroke and help them begin the recover process through physical therapy.

   
       
 

Lydia Van Hoff, DPT, PT

Lydia Van Hoff is a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. She is responsible for completing Visits 1 and 2 with eligible participants.

Lydia is completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Chapman University. She is passionate about neurological rehabilitation, with a particular interest in working with patients throughout their stroke recovery, using evidence based practice to do so.

   
       
 

Kaleen Reid, DPT, PT

Kaleen Reid is a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. She is responsible for completing Visits 1 and 2 with participants.

Kaleen is interested in the rehabilitation of the neurologic population and enjoy helping patheints through their recovery.
